'Shakib & Co. did their work to pull of a victory'

Sunrisers Hyderabad are undoubtedly the best in the Indian Premier League [IPL] when it comes to defending below-par scores. After desecrating the fortress of Mumbai Indians, they again defended a puny total against Kings XI Punjab and completed their revenge against the men led by Ashwin.
The way the SRH bowlers held their nerves even after failing to scalp any wicket when KXIP went past 50 runs. However, just removing the top-order is all they had to do as KXIP faced a collapse as soon as Rashid Khan removed Lokesh Rahul.

SRH didn’t need someone like Ankit Rajpoot who would take a fifer to single-handedly crush the opponents. They worked as a team instead and took the game away from Punjab.
“You have to praise the SRH bowlers. The way they defended 118 against Mumbai and won by 31 runs despite the ball being wet due to dew... Here, Rashid Khan, Basil Thampi, Sandeep Sharma, Shakib also did his work and the made sure they caught the catches - something that KXIP Punjab couldn't do,” said Aakash Chopra.
SRH are now at the second position in the league with 5 wins in 7 matches and KXIP stand third with as many wins in the same number of games.
