Bangladesh to play at lucky ground against World Cup hosts


The biggest event in the cricketing world is just a year away and a fixture ahead of this grand occasion has been released. According to ESPNcricinfo.com, the schedule was approved by the ICC's CEC (chief executives' committee) and will be presented to the ICC Board, for final approval, on Thursday in Kolkata.
The ICC World Cup 2019 will commence with the match between South Africa and the hosts—England at the Oval on May 30. A total of 45 matches will take place in the group round where the each of the ten teams will face the other in a round-robin format.
The group round will end on July 6 and then the semi-finals will be played on July 9 and July 11. The curtain on the event will be drawn with the final match taking place at the Lord’s on July 14.
The most exciting game in any global competition of cricket is undoubtedly the India-Pakistan clash. Old Trafford will be hosting the match on June 16.
Bangladesh will start its World Cup journey on 2nd June. They will be facing the Proteas in their maiden game in the tournament. The Tigers will take on Pakistan in their last game at Lord’s on July 5.
