Shakib hits new milestone in SRH's victory

Another thrilling match between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Mumbai Indians saw the former getting back to their winning habit. SRH desecrated Mumbai’s fortress despite a poor batting display.
SRH’s bowling attack shone once again as MI got bundled at the lowest total of this season so far. None of the team could complete their 20-over innings as both of batting line-ups crumbled miserably.
Winning the toss MI opted to bowl first. It was looking like the team exploited their home-advantage well enough as SRH got all-out at 118 runs. Kane Williamson and Yusuf Pathan scored 29 runs each to give the team a decent total. Among the other batsmen, only Manish Pandey and Mohammad Nabi reached the double-digit score.
Mithell McClenaghan, Hardik Pandya, and Mayank Markande got 2 wickets apiece. Mustafizur Rahman and Jasprit Bumrah also got one wicket each.
Mumbai then came on to chase the puny total but got restricted to even punier score as none of the batsmen could make their mark except for Suryakumar Yadav and Krunal Pandya who tried to salvage some pride for the team with their innings of 34 and 24 runs, respectively.

Siddharth Kaul led the hunt for SRH with three wickets under his belt. Basil Thampi and Rashid Khan also bagged 2 wickets each.
Meanwhile, Shakib Al Hasan became the fifth bowler and also the only left-arm spinner to have taken 300 wickets in T20s. He needed one wicket to reach the landmark Mumbai skipper helped him by giving his wicket away. Each of Sandeep Sharma and Mohammd Nabi also scalped a wicket in this match.
MI lost the match by 31 runs and will try to end their miserbale run in their next match against Chennai Super Kings on April 28. On the other hand, SRH will face King XI Punjab on April 26.
