Shakib's SRH look to revive against tough opponents

Chennai Super Kings and Sunrisers Hyderabad will lock horns at Hyderabad on Sunday. Both teams have lost three of their four matches. In fact, both SRH and CSK defeated Mumbai Indians by a narrow 1-wicket margin while Kolkata Knight Riders were handed a 5-wicket defeat by each of the two sides and the only loss for both of them came against Kings XI Punjab.
It’ll be interesting to see how SRH try to mount a comeback after realizing the flaws in their batting when it comes to a chasing a big total. CSK will also try to continue their momentum from the last game where they rode Shane Watson’s magnificent century to crush Rajasthan Royals with a 64-run defeat.
Sunrisers Hyderabad
Except for the last match when their spinners got blown away by Chris Gayle’s masterclass, SRH’s bowling has been amazing thus far. However, their batting line-up might face another tough test if Shikhar Dhawan fails to make it to the starting XI due to the injury that forced him to in their previous clash against Punjab.
In that case, Alex Hales could be included in the team with Chris Jordan making way for him to maintain the number of overseas players allowed while Sandeep Sharma could balance the pace attack by getting into the playing XI. Otherwise, Billy Stanlake might replace Chris Jordan given no other changes has been made.

Manish Pandey’s half-century in the last game might boost his confidence. However, he has to be quicker to get runs when the team needs it.
Predicted XI: Shikhar Dhawan/Alex Hales, Wriddhiman Saha, Kane Williamson, Manish Pandey, Deepak Hooda, Shakib Al Hasan, Yusuf Pathan, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Rashid Khan, Siddarth Kaul, Billy Stanlake/Sandeep Sharma
Chennai Super Kings
CSK are unlikely to break their winning combination. They would want Sam Billings to contribute after having two bad innings. David Willey could be a good replacement but that is not likely to happen today.
Shane Watson, with his all-round proficiency, will once again strike hard to help his team produce a positive outcome.
Predicted XI: Shane Watson, Dwayne Bravo, MS Dhoni (c & wk), Suresh Raina, Ravindra Jadeja, Karn Sharma, Ambati Rayudu, Imran Tahir, Deepak Chahar, Sam Billings, Shardul Thakur
Prediction
CSK have won four of their last six clashes against SRH including a win at this venue out of the two matches they have played here. Their recent form will also back the team’s winning chances while, on the other hand, SRH have been struggling with the bat.
