Bangladesh set to play in India in June

The bilateral series between Afghanistan and Bangladesh is just a few steps away from being finalized. Earlier, there was an uncertainty regarding the format but BCB president Nazmul Hasan Papon has confirmed that the shortest format—T20 will be played in the series.
According to the BCB president, three or four matches will be played although the schedule hasn’t been decided yet. Afghanistan Cricket Board has proposed Dehradun as a venue for hosting the games but BCB wants the matches to take place in Bengaluru or Mumbai.

“A final decision has been made to play T20Is against Afghanistan. It will take place at the beginning of June. The venue has not been finalized as of yet,” said Nazmul.
The series is expected to commence in the first week of June. Following the series the Tigers will travel to the Caribbean to face West Indies. Then they will visit Florida to play T20Is with their next assignment being the Aisa Cup in UAE in September returning from where the cricketers will be taking part in the Bangladesh Premier League [BPL].
