Shakib returns after a short innings

Sunrisers Hyderabad welcome a wounded Mumbai Indians side who would like to have a go at the hosts at Hyderabad. The men led by Rohit Sharma would be raring a hit after having tasted a narrow defeat against Chennai in their opening game.
The hosting team have had a brilliant start in the tournament with their match against Rajasthan Royals where they outshone the opponents in every department.
Winning the toss, SRH have decided to bowl first. Mumbai’s batting was outshone by the clinical bowling attack SRH possesses. They stopped at a sub-par total of 147 runs for 8 wickets.
While Evin Lewis, Suryakumar Yadav, and Krunal Pandya made 20-odd runs each, the rest of the batsmen failed to stand firm in front of SRH’s bowling.
Billy Stanlake, Sandeep Sharma, and Siddharth Kaul bagged 2 wickets each for SRH. Shakib Al Hasan and Rashid Khan also scalped a wicket apiece.
SRH had a brilliant start in batting as well. Their openers shared a 62-run partnership until Mayank Markande trapped Wriddhiman Saha lbw on 22 runs.

The new batsman in—Kane Williamson also couldn’t last long on the pitch as he edged Mustafizur Rahman and got caught behind. Then Markande struck once again to dismiss Shikhar Dhawan who played a crucial innings of 45 from 28 deliveries.
The untested middle-order from the first game is also struggling to continue the momentum initiated by Dhawan. Manish Pandey and Shakib Al Hasan failed to restore SRH's innings and returned to the pavilion immediately after going past 10 runs. Both were removed by Markande.
Deepak Hooda and Yusuf Pathan are at the crease looking to settle a win for the home-team.
