Mumbai await resurgence against clinical Hyderabad

Sunrisers Hyderabad will welcome a wounded Mumbai Indians side who would like to have a go at the hosts at Hyderabad. The men led by Rohit Sharma would be raring a hit after having tasted a narrow defeat against Chennai in their opening game.
It will be interesting to see how SRH maintain their solid performance against a side that is so eager to mount a comeback. The hosting team have had a brilliant start in the tournament with their match against Rajasthan Royals where they outshone the opponents in every department.
Sunrisers Hyderabad
With a bowling attack so clinical, SRH will hardly want to make a change in that line-up. Although MI batsmen have a good record against the spinners, Hyderabad has world-class spinners like Rashid Khan and Shakib Al Hasan who know how to turn things around in a T20.
Siddharth Kaul can also team up efficiently along with Billy Stanlake and Bhuvaneshwar Kumar to enhance their pace attack.
SRH’s middle-order is yet to be tested as their skipper Kane Williamson and Shikhar Dhawan did not let the tension thrive down the order in the first match. However, Manish Pandey, Yusuf Pathan, Shakib, and Deepak Hooda will be equally keen to outclass the opponents’ attack.

Predicted XI: Shikhar Dhawan, Wriddhiman Saha (wk), Kane Willamson (C), Manish Pandey, Shakib Al Hasan, Deepak Hooda, Yusuf Pathan, Rashid Khan, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Siddharth Kaul, Billy Stanlake
Mumbai Indians
Mumbai Indians have the kind of perfect combination in their team that is required to dominate in the shortest format of the game. A change in their starting XI is highly unlikely to happen as they possess the strengh to edge past any opponent if the plans are executed perefectly.
However, things did not go their way in the first match as their quick-trio leaked too many runs. If they want to succeed against a confident Hyderabad side then their bowling attack has to be more effective, especially, Mitchell McClenaghan will have to join the hunt with the other two potential death bowlers and tie up the loose ends.
Mayank Markande, after a stunning debut, will also be the player to watch in this clash.
Predicted XI: Rohit Sharma (C), Evin Lewis, Ishan Kishan (wk), Surya Kumar Yadav, Hardik Pandya, Kieron Pollard, Krunal Pandya, Mitchell McClenaghan, Mayank Markande, Mustafizur Rahman, Jasprit Bumrah
Prediction
Kane Williamson, who has been captaining SRH in place of David Warner, will try to continue carrying the momentum from the last match. They also have a streak to maintain here as they won 7 out of their last 8 matches at this venue since 2017.
Mumbai never won their opening match in this competition since 2012, yet went on to win the title thrice during this period. So, their soft start will not be much of a setback for the team but they'll have a tougher job to carry out if they want an edge over the opponents tonight.
