Windies under whitewash threat against ruthless Pakistan

Pakistan are enjoying massive success as their experienced side have beautifully teamed up with the new findings of PSL. On the other hand, an inexperienced West Indian side is certainly not offering even the slightest form of determination that needs to be exhibited in order to battle the no. 1 ranked team in the format.

After a disgraceful defeat against Pakistan on Sunday, the current World T20 champions have again been handed an 82-run defeat by the clinical opponents.

Winning the toss at Karachi, Pakistan decided to bat first. Although Fakhar Zaman returned to the pavilion early scoring 6 runs, Hussain Talat and Babar Azam proved the decision right by stitching a 119-run stand.

Hussain Talat, the most exciting prospect of the recently concluded PSL has again shone greatly with the bat and clubbed 63 runs. Babar Azam remained not out and was 3 runs shy of his first-ever T20I century.

Following Talat’s departure, Asif Ali and Shoaib Malik came in subsequently and carried on with the momentum. Asif got out after making 14 runs from 8 deliveries and Malik remained unbeaten alongside Babar, scoring 17 off 7.

Rayad Emrit, Kesrick Williams, and Odean Smith took one scalp each as Pakistan registered a total of 205 runs for 3 wickets.

West Indies batting lineup once again crumbled against Pakistan’s bowling attack as they got all out at 123 runs. Opener Chadwick Walton played the highest individual innings for the Caribbean team and posted 40 runs on the scoreboard.

The Windies team showed a bit of improvement here as five of their batsmen reached the double-digits score on Monday including Walton, as opposed to three batsmen in the previous game.

Mohammad Amir scalped 3 wickets while each of Hasan Ali and Mohammad Nawaz picked up a wicket. Hussain Talat also joined the hunt along with Shadab Khan as each of them bagged 2 wickets.

Pakistan have already sealed the 3-match series by 2-0 and will look forward to whitewashing the visitors on Tuesday.
