Lone warrior Ashraful loses yet again

Kalabagan Krira Chakra are pretty much on the verge of relegation after losing against Agrani Bank Cricket Club. They are now 4 points behind Brothers Union and 6 points behind Agrani in the Relegation League.
Batting first, Kalabagan registered a total of 246 runs for 5 wickets. Mohammad Ashraful scored yet another ton and bagged 2 wickets as well, but failed to steer his team to a victory in the end.
While Kalabagan were suffering after losing 3 quick wickets in the beginning, Taibur Rahman stitched a 163-run partnership alongside Ashraful. He scored 82 runs before returning to the pavilion as Soumya Sarkar dismissed him.
Sarkar scalped another wicket in the match while Abdur Razzak, Shafiul Islam, and Al-Amin Hossain picked one wicket apiece. However, Ashraful remained not out on 103 runs.
In reply, a fine century from Shahriar Nafees and an 83-run innings from Salman Hossain powered Agrani Bank to successfully chase down the total with 25 balls remaining.

Nafees was dismissed by Ashraful scoring 109 runs. Salman made 83 runs and shared a 172-run stand with Nafees before Nahid Hasan took his wicket. Nahid took a total of two scalps but failed to prevent Agrani Bank from clinching a victory over his side.
Agrani Bank won the match by 5 wickets and their skipper Shahriar Nafees won the Man of the Match.
