Pakistan Cricket Board [PCB] announced a 15-member squad for the upcoming West Indies tour of Pakistan on Monday. The National Selection Committee headed by Inzamam ul Haq announced the squad for the three-match series.

Suprisingly, Kamran Akmal, the leading run-scorer after Luke Ronchi and the only centurion in the latest edition of PSL, has not been named in the squad despite being in an impressive form.

However, Asif Ali and Hussain Talat, the leading run-scorers after Jean-Paul Duminy for the PSL champions—Islamabad United, have earned their maiden call-ups to the national team. Rahat Ali also got a chance in the squad after bowling well in the recently concluded PSL.
