The Tigers sent to bat first


Bangladesh and India face-off against each other in the final match of the Nidahas Trophy. India qualified for the final after winning three of their four games in the group round. Bangladesh, on the other hand, stormed into the final by winning both of their matches against the hosts, Sri Lanka.
Bangladesh faced India in seven T20Is including two clashes in this tournament and have not been able to manage a single win against the Men in Blue. Their defeats against include an Asia Cup final and an awful one-run loss in the ICC World T20 in 2016.

Bangladesh have named the same playing XI from their last match. On the other hand, Jaydev Unadkat has replaced Mohammad Siraj for India.
India decided to bowl first at the R.Premadasa Stadium.
