India defeated Bangladesh in their last match in the Nidahas Trophy and qualified for the final of the tournament. In that match, India skipper Rohit Sharma entered the record books after his magnificent performance with the bat.

Rohit played the highest individual innings in their 17-run victory against the Tigers. His knock of 89 runs was laced with 5 sixes which helped him overcome Yuvraj Singh to have hit the most number of over-boundaries in the format.

Yuvraj is the only player to have smashed six sixes in an over in T20Is. He has a total of 74 sixes to his name. Rohit has gone past his total to reach 75 maximums.

After these two batsmen, the third to hit the most number of sixes is Suresh Raina who has 54 sixes under his belt. Following him, there are MS Dhoni and Virat Kohli who have hit 46 and 43 sixes, respectively.
