Sri Lankan player arrested for drunk-driving and assault

There is some trouble for Sri Lankan cricket as one of its players has been arrested on charges of drunk driving and assault. According to the sources of Cricinfo, Sri Lankan police confirmed that the arrest was made on Nawala Road in Colombo.
The player in question in Ramith Rambukwella, who has played in two international T20 games for his nation. He has also been alleged to assault two university students and will appear in front of the Aluthkade Magistrate court on Saturday.

This is not the first time that Rambukwella has been in trouble due to disciplinary issues as he has a history of them since his U19 years. In one bizarre incident, he once tried to open the cabin door of an aircraft that was traveling 35,000 feet above the ground while returning to Sri Lanka from the Caribbean, where he was representing the Sri Lanka A team.
He was also involved in an accident in September 2016 in Colombo and was arrested for that too.
