New Zealand seamer Trent Boult has been an integral part of the team across all formats since 2015. He was also the joint leading wicket-taker with 22 scalps alongside Australia's Mitchell Starc in the ICC World Cup 2015.

The fast-bowler was also impressive in the Indian Premier League [IPL] in 2015. He featured in Sunrisers Hyderabad for two years and then moved to Kolkata Knight Riders in 2017.

Boult, along with former KKR skipper Gautam Gambhir, has been roped in by Delhi Daredevils during the IPL auction at Bangalore this year. Gambhir has returned to the team after 7 years and will once again lead the side in the upcoming season.

The left-handed batsman heaped praise on the Kiwi quick. He appreciated Boult’s ability and labeled him the best left-arm pacer.

Gambhir reportedly said, “I believe Boult is the best left-arm fast bowler in the world right now. People do talk a lot about Mitchell Starc as well but Trent Boult on the given day can be as lethal as anyone else in the world. He can swing the ball at 135 Kmph.”

Together these two players will look forward to making things better for the Daredevils team which has never had its and on the IPL trophy.
