Rohit helps son to reach his father

Mohamed Nilam, a Sri Lankan citizen, reveals how Rohit
Sharma helped him in his difficult situation.
The Indian opener was approached by Sachin Tendulkar’s die-hard fan Sudhir Gautam, who told him about the Lankan’s situation. With Rohit’s help, Nilam finally reached Colombo to attend to his sick father.
Mohamed’s father has been diagnosed with throat cancer. He came to know the news during the 3rd Test between India and Sri Lanka in Delhi. He, at that time, did not have enough money to book his ticket.
The acting Indian skipper then provided Nilam with monetary support. But his offer of financial help for the surgey was turned down by the Lankan.

"Rohit called me to the team hotel and gave me the (Rs 20,000 approx) ticket. The surgery went well.
I was disturbed when I heard about my father's health, Rohit has a big heart and he immediately arranged for my return ticket. He is a gem of a person," Nilam said.
Sudhir had informed the Indian skipper Virat Kohli as well. The newlywed got in touch with Mohamed and asked if he needed further assistance.
"When Virat bhai came to know about my father's health, he too messaged me and asked if I needed any help. I congratulated Virat bhai on his wedding. I feel blessed and lucky to get so much love from Indian cricketers. They have always been very helpful in arranging match tickets whenever we come to watch them," Nilam said.
Rohit Sharma, the only batsman to have scored 3 ODI double-tons, has always been stunning on the ground. Now his act of kindness becomes remarkable to prove how good of a person he is off the field.
