The group round of the Bangladesh Premier League is over now and the play-offs are going to begin soon. The four teams that have qualified for the play-off are Comilla, Dhaka, Khulna and Rangpur – in that order – and will fight each other for a place in the final.

On the 8^th of December, all four teams will take part in a double-header. The Khulna Titans will lock horns against the Rangpur Riders in the morning game while the Dhaka Dynamites will go head-to-head with the Comilla Victorians.

The loser of the game between Khulna and Rangpur will be eliminated from the competition while the winner will have to play against the loser of the game between Dhaka and Comilla. The winner of the latter game head straight to the final.

The second eliminator will be played on the 10^th of December while the final of the Bangladesh Premier League will be played on the 12^th of December.

There is a 50% chance that the BPL will have a new winner this year. For the sake of not being monotonous and prosaic, we would hope that the best team wins. Happy watching!
