Sean Williams announces retirement from T20Is after Bangladesh series

At the age of 37, all-rounder Sean Williams concluded an 18-year-long career at the Sher-e-Bangla Stadium in Mirpur after the final match of the five-match T20 series against Bangladesh.
Williams expressed about his retirement decision to Cricfrenzy, saying, "Most likely, this was my last match. I'll take retirement."

Then Williams announced retirement in front of his comrades in the dressing room. However, he will continue playing in the remaining two editions.
On the day of the team's victory, he bowled 1 over, conceding 12 runs without taking any wickets. He didn't get a chance to bat because Zimbabwe had secured an easy victory with 8 wickets.
In T20I, Williams played his first match against Bangladesh at Khulna's on November 28, 2006. He was part of the XI in that match, where Bangladesh won by 43 runs.
In his long career, Williams has played 81 international T20 matches. He has scored 1691 runs at an average of 23.48 and a strike rate of 126.38, with 11 fifties.
He was also effective with the ball, taking 48 wickets at an economy rate of 9.93 in 73 innings.
