Bangladesh wicket-keeper batter Nurul Hasan Sohan is determined to play in the ODI World Cup 2027, which will be jointly hosted by African nations.
Sohan who was not picked for the World Cup 2023 expressed his desire to participate in the next tournament and stated that he is following the necessary process to give his hundred percent.

“It’s a dream to play in the ODI World Cup. I have played two or three T20 World Cups before. But I did not get a chance to be in the ODI World Cup," Sohan told the media.

"I hope to organize myself that way. I’m trying to prepare myself in such a way that I can be in the 2027 World Cup. I am following the process that needs to be maintained. I want to work hard so that I can give my hundred percent,” said Sohan.
The wicket-keeper batter was always seen to be played at number 6 or 7 but he stated that he wants to be a proper batsman and is willing to play in any situation if the team requires it.
“I don't want to be a slogger. I want to be a proper batsman. When I play in domestic there is time to finish or in a pattern. I am ready to play in any situation if the team needs it,” he added.
