Mitchell Marsh smashed another century in the World Cup to register an eight-wicket win against Bangladesh at Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium, Pune.
Despite the defeat, the Tigers stand at number eight position which ensured their qualification for the Champions Trophy. However, the scenario would change if the Netherlands stunt India in their next game.
Marsh and Smith added a record 175-run partnership for the third wicket and remained unbeaten on 177 and 63 runs respectively.
David Warner also contributed with 53 runs before getting castled by Mustafizur.

While Mustafizur Rahman and Taskin Ahmed took one wicket each for Bangladesh.
After being invited to bat first, the openers Litton Das and Tanzid Tamim put up 76 runs for the opening partnership. World Cup debutant Sean Abbott ceased the run flow by returning Tanzid Tamim with a return catch who scored 36 runs off 34 with six boundaries.
Another opener Litton departed on 36 being caught by Labuschagne while facing Adam Zampa. Then stand-in captain Shanto and Hridoy tried to rebuild and stitched a 64-run partnership for the third wicket which steadied the innings until Labuschagne run out Shanto.
He made another blow when he returned Mahmudullah with an outstanding run out as the non-striker Mahmudullah dived but fell short to save his wicket.
The veteran played his last World Cup match, scoring 32 off 28 aided by three sixes and a boundary. The all-rounder scored the highest 328 runs in nine matches for the team being the the most successful campaigner in the World Cup.
Another stalwart Mushfiqur Rahim played a brief innings of 24-ball 21 to put an end to his World Cup career as he returned with an easy catch to Cummins off Zampa.
Hridoy played the highest-scoring knock of 74 runs in 79 deliveries which featured five 4’s and two maximums. While Miraz contributed with 29 runs to help Bangladesh cross the 300-run mark.
