Fargana, Murshida record partnership help Bangladesh clinch ODI series over Pakistan

Bangladesh Women's clinched the three-match ODI series 2-1 by defeating Pakistan in the third ODI by seven wickets at Sher e Bangla National Cricket Stadium, Mirpur.
Fargana Haque and Murshida Khatun registered a record partnership of 125 runs in their chase of 167 runs, breaking the record of 113 runs between Shukhtara Rahman and Sharmin Akter.

The duo made a commanding start and smashed half-centuries as Fargana scored 62 runs while Murshida contributed with 54 runs.

Nashra Sandhu broke the partnership and scalped twice to return both of the set batters. Then skipper Nigar Sultana Joty and Sobhana Mostary took the side to the port of the victory being unbeaten on 18 and 19 runs respectively.
Sidra Ameen of Pakistan struck 84 at the top but the visitors could not get a bigger score as they lost quick wickets after the half-way point in their innings.
Left-arm spinner Nahida Akter was the pick of the bowlers with three wickets for 26 runs while leg-spinner Rabeya Khan got two wickets for 35.
