Bangladesh Women’s squad announced for Pakistan ODIs

The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) on Monday announced a 16-member squad for the three-match ODI series against Pakistan.
Nigar Sultana will lead the side and Nahida Akter will be her deputy in the three-match ODI series which is a part of the ICC Women’s Championship.
Young batter Sumaiya Akter and uncapped offspinner Nishita Akter have earned maiden call-up.

The ODI series is part of the ICC Women's Championship cycle 2022-25, where Bangladesh occupy the ninth position on the table with just one win from nine matches.

Pakistan, meanwhile, are fourth with six wins from 12 matches, and suffered back-to-back series defeats against South Africa (home) and Australia (away) before this series. India are currently the table-toppers with seven wins from nine games.
Bangladesh will take on Pakistan in the first ODI on November 4, second and third ODI matches will be played on 7 and 10 November respectively.
All the matches will be staged at the Sher e Bangla National Cricket Stadium (SBNCS).
Veteran all-rounder Salma Khatun, Shorifa Khatun, and Sharmin Akter Supta have been named as stand-by players.
