India batsman Cheteshwar Pujara believes Bangladesh is not a strong side when they play away from their home soil and suggested that they need to work on improving their performance in away conditions.
Pujara emphasized that he is keeping South Africa ahead of Bangladesh while discussing the upcoming clash between them at Mumbai's Wankhede Stadium.

However, Bangladesh has records of defeating South Africa in the 2007 and 2019 World Cups.

“If you look at the Bangladesh team, they play very well when they play at their home ground. When you look at their statistics when they play anywhere outside the country, it seems that they are not a good team. I'm not saying they can't win. But they need to improve their performance when playing away. I think they should work on this place,” said Pujara on Cricbuzz.
Former New Zealand pacer Shane Bond also rhymed the same thing because the proteas defeated the defending champions England at the same venue by massive 229 runs.
“Bangladesh can play well in this field. But South Africa dominated England to win on this batting-friendly wicket. I think South Africa is too strong as a team for Bangladesh on such a wicket,” said Bond.
