Bangladesh's World Cup campaign experienced a significant downturn after three successive defeats following a triumph against Afghanistan in their opening game. They will now face a team that has been in fantastic form, with their batters coming out firing in every match.
South Africa posted 428-5 against Sri Lanka, 311-7 against Australia, 207 all out against Netherlands and 399-7 against defending champions England in their last matches, which demonstrated the devastating form of their batters.

However, South African stand-in captain Aiden Markram is not willing to consider themselves a winner before entering the field.

He said, the World Cup has already shown that any team can beat anyone. And if they does not accept the matter, they will be punished. So they will try to do their work properly.
Even though Bangladesh have lost three of their four games at the World Cup, wary batsman Markram said: "If your skills let you down on the day against a team like Bangladesh, you will be put under a lot of pressure.
"So that's probably where we've got it wrong in the past. They bring a great attack that is well rounded now. You can't just say they're going to bring fantastic spinners because their seamers have done a great job in the recent past." said Markram, a stand-in captain against England after regular skipper Temba Bavuma was ruled out through illness.
