Bangladesh went back to their previous line-up against New Zealand, and Miraz was shifted up to three. However, the all-rounder said he is always ready for changes in batting position.
"I always think about the team. Of course, the team wants to know what position I will do better. Sometimes you have to bat in the opening. Sometimes you have to bat in the middle order. Coaches always say to be ready to bat in all positions. I’m always ready to bat in any position where the opportunity is available. I always say that, I can play in any position", said Miraz to ICC.
Miraz also talked about his approach to batting and his aspirations in the World Cup - "When you want to score a century, you definitely need skill. You have to have that temper too. I try to stay positive. Then I convince myself, I can, I can do better".
