Bangladesh head coach Chandika Hathurusingha was hopeful that the batters will return to form in their upcoming match against India.
According to the coach, the batters have not performed up to their potential yet, however, he expects they will get back on scoring on the batting-friendly wicket at Pune.

“I don't think we are unsettled. We are not performing up to our potential. I know the batters want to play better than they are doing now," said Hathurusingha.
"We still haven't got the full performance with the batting group. They have not yet proved their full potential in batting. Hopefully, the batsmen will get back to the runs with this match as the wicket will help the batsmen. I also hope that the boys will play with their best,” he said.
Bangladesh cricket team experimented with their batting strength by shuffling the batting position in the ongoing World Cup.
Mehidy Hasan Miraz and Najmul Hossain Shanto's batting positions were observed to be changed frequently in the last three matches of the tournament. The coach added that they will continue to experiment and
“We are arranging the batting order according to our plan. We arrange the order according to the match combination. I have had a clear discussion with my boys about this, they are also aware of this. We also practiced how we want to play. No one complained, sometimes succeeded and sometimes failed. We will experiment the whole World Cup in this plan,” he said.
