Bangladesh captain went to the hospital to scan for a suspected hamstring, confirmed by vice-captain Najmul Hossain Shanto.
Shanto in place of the injured Shakib came to the presentation, and said "Shakib has gone for a scan after that we'll know more.”
Again after a top-order collapse, Mushfiqur Rahim hit a fine half-century to lead Bangladesh to 245-9 as he was accompanied by captain Shakib, who scored 40 runs.

Shakib picked up the injury while completing a run in the 29th over of Bangladesh's innings, when it looked like he had jammed his leg in the ground.

The Southpaw was on 24 off 45 balls at that stage but picked up the pace to get to 40 off 51 before miscuing an attempted pull-off Lockie Ferguson to be dismissed.
Shakib ended his innings suffering from cramps in the sweltering heat and batting without a helmet or cap against the spinners.
Kane Williamson, who also hurt himself during his innings, marked his return to the World Cup with an undefeated 78 as New Zealand cruised past Bangladesh by eight wickets on Friday but the captain was forced to retire hurt with a hand injury.
