Bangladesh cricket fraternity and fans are still seeing verbal accusation between Shakib al Hasan and Tamim Iqbal as Shakib said in the second part of T Sports interview that they lost in the Afghanistan ODI series because of former captain Tamim, who took sudden retirement after the first ODI.  


The veteran opener had broke down in tears while announcing the immediate end to his international career a day after leading his side to a 17-run defeat in the first of a three-match one-day series against Afghanistan.


But had withdrawn his shock retirement from the sport after a meeting with Prime Minister of Bangladesh.

And it was took all attention from the ongoing home series and the home side faced 2-1 series defeat.

Shakib blamed Tamim for his emotional decision which he believes cost the series.


"I will completely blame the captain for our series loss against Afghanistan. I didn't see anywhere in the world a captain after playing the first game of a series coming in and emotionally saying I will not play cricket anymore. I've seen something like this for the first time in my life." Shakib said.


"A responsible captain can never do something like this. We went to the back foot because of it and we're still recovering from it."



After all these scenes BCB made Shakib as Tiger captain for the Asia Cup, where Bangladesh didn't do well but now it's time for the India World Cup, where Shakib is ready to give his best shot amidst all the outside drama have been going on in Bangladesh cricket right now.
