“Afghanistan bowling attack is one of the best in the world. So definitely it's a challenge, but we have played them recently and our players has had some success. So it's all depend on the day that how you perform. So we are very much aware of the challenge that we face,” Hathurusingha said.
"They have one of the best bowling attacks in world cricket, especially in limited-over cricket. They got two world-class spinners and decent seamers. We are well aware of their threat because we played them recently in T20Is and ODIs," he said.
Hathurusingha said they are focusing on tomorrows match not the Final, “So before we're thinking of final, we need to get into the second round. So this game is very important because of what happened in the last game against Sri Lanka. So we know that it's a must win game and we certainly didn't play to our potential last game and that we didn't represent ourselves well enough. But we are confident that we will bring our A game against Afghanistan tomorrow,”
Bangladesh last played an ODI at the Gaddafi Stadium back in 2008, with Mushfiqur Rahim being the sole player from that squad and for Afghanistan, it will be their first-ever international game in Pakistan.
