The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) announced squad for the women’s cricket event of the 19th Asian Games in Hangzhou, China.
Niger Sultana Joty will lead the 15-member side and Nahida Akter will be the deputy in the nine- team based tournament.
Veteran all-rounder Salma Khatun was named in the squad as a standy player. The 32-year-old was named in the squad for India series at home, however she played one T20 only.

The Tigress will directly play the quarterfinals along with India, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka.
