Pacer Ebadot Hossain suffered a knee injury in the home series against Afghanistan and he was supposed to play in the Asia Cup after recovering but the pacer did not improve as expected and he was ruled out of the Asia Cup squad.
Now there is doubt too about his availability in the India World Cup, according to pace bowling coach Allan Donald.
The 29-year-old Ebadot is suffering from an anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injury and he will leave for London tomorrow [Monday] for treatment.

Donald gave an update on Ebadot after reaching Kandy, Sri Lanka to participate in Asia Cup as the South African said the pacer will be missed in Asia Cup and there is still an outside chance for him to go to the World Cup.
“He's going to be greatly missed. There's no chatter to him this morning. He's on his way to London tomorrow morning to go and see a specialist, so we wish him the best. He'll be sorely missed, but let's hope, there's still an outside chance for him to go to the World Cup,” said Donald on Sunday.

Bangaldesh Cricket Board (BCB) wants Ebadot in the World Cup team and the board wants to take the best and safest possible steps to recover him.
Ebadot is going to London for knee treatment with newly appointed chief rehabilitation center physio Kieron Thomas.
BCB named uncapped pacer Tanzim Hasan Sakib as Ebadot’s replacement for the most popular Asian tournament.
