Nepal announced the 17-member squad on Monday for the upcoming Asia Cup in Pakistan and Sri Lanka.
Seventeen-man squad led by Rohit Paudel will be seen representing Team Nepal in country’s maiden Asia Cup appearance.
The squad’s composition reflects a strategic blend of batting and bowling prowess, ensuring a balanced team capable of navigating the challenges posed by the Asia Cup.

With talents such as Asif Sheikh, Kusal Bhurtel and Kushal Malla forming the core of the batting lineup, Nepal’s batting aspirations are poised to receive a significant boost.
On the bowling front, the inclusion of spin sensation Sandeep Lamichhane, Karan KC and Sompal Kami underscores Nepal’s intent to excel in all facets of the game. The squad’s depth extends to its bowling reserves, ensuring an array of options to tackle varied opposition.
Nepal will be travelling to Pakistan earlier than their original schedule to prepare for Asia Cup. Nepalese team will reach Pakistan on 22 August, ahead of their initially planned schedule.They will practice in Karachi from August 22nd to August 26th.
After a practice in Karachi, Team Nepal will travel to Multan on August 27. They will play against Pakistan on August 30 in the first match of the Asia Cup 2023. Then both sides will fly to Sri Lanka, where they will play a match against India.
Nepal will face India in Kandy on September 4.
