Bangladesh’s three world cup matches rescheduled as the eagerly-awaited contest between India and Pakistan at this year's ICC Men's Cricket World Cup has been rescheduled to a different day, while details of eight other matches have also been changed.


New Zealand's game against Bangladesh originally scheduled as a day match for 14 October in Chennai has been moved back and will now be held on Friday, 13 October and be played as a day-night contest.


The timing of the Tigers’ game against England in Dharamsala has changed slightly from the initial phase of the competition, the match will now begin during the day instead of the original day-night time slot.


Australia will lock horns against Bangladesh on November 11 instead of 12 in a day match.

The Indian and Pakistani match had been scheduled to take place in Ahmedabad on Sunday, October 15, however, it has been pushed up a day and will now take place on Saturday, October 14.


As a result, England's fixture against Afghanistan in Delhi will be moved from Saturday, 14 October and will now be played 24 hours later on Sunday, 15 October.


Pakistan's contest against Sri Lanka in Hyderabad has moved from Thursday, 12 October to now being played on Tuesday, 10 October and Australia's big match against South Africa in Lucknow moved back 24 hours and will now be played on Thursday, 12 October instead of Friday, 13 October.


With the doubleheader matches between Australia and Pakistan in Pune and England and Pakistan in Kolkata being moved a day earlier to Saturday, 11 November, there are three changes near the end of the league stage.


India's final league match against the Netherlands will now be played in Bengaluru on November 12 instead of November 11, and it will be a day-night match.



The World Cup begins on Thursday, October 5 with a match between 2019 finalists England and New Zealand in Ahmedabad's Narendra Modi Stadium, and it concludes with the championship game there on Sunday, November 19.


ICC and Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) have announced World Cup 2023 tickets will go on sale on 25 August, as the updated match schedule for the extravaganza was released.
