Bangladesh national team cricketers held a photo session with the ICC World Cup Trophy on Tuesday at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium, Mirpur.
The trophy tour started with the hosts India on June 27, which landed in Bangladesh on August 7 for a three-day tour and will leave for Kuwait on August 9.
The ODI World Cup Trophy was on display at Padma Bridge, Mawa end on the first day of the three-day tour in Bangladesh.
As per schedule, the National Men's and Women's Cricket Team, current and former cricketers, officials, organizers and the media held a photo session from 9 am to 12 noon. General spectators also got a chance to see the trophy at the SBNCS.

16 Mar 25BCB selector Habibul Bashar was also present in the program, the former captain was overjoyed for being able to touch the World Cup Trophy.
“It feels great to touch the trophy, it was a dream. If I could lift the trophy after winning, it would be even better. Feeling excited, the World Cup seems to have started for us from today,” said Bashar.
“Every World Cup comes with hope. This time we all are hoping a little bit more it’s not only mine because we have been playing very well in the 50-over format for two years,” he added.
Bangladesh women's cricket team met the trophy after that. Captain Nigar Sultana said, "We had never seen the trophy this closely before. We thank the BCB and its women's wing for giving us the opportunity. It was a dream for many young cricketers,"
On the third day, the trophy will be displayed at Bashundhara City Shopping Mall for cricket fans from 11:00 am to 8:00 pm.
The ODI World Cup is scheduled to be held in India from October 7 to November 19.
