15 Mar 25Durban Qalandars sealed the inaugural Zim-Afro T10 silverware after thrashing Joburg Buffaloes by eight wickets on Saturday.
However, Bangladesh star Mushfiqur Rahim, who helped Buffaloes significantly to reach the Final, was dropped from the XI today.
The wicket-keeper batter with a strike rate of 168 scored 126 runs from eight matches in the tournament, where he batted in six innings.

A standout performer for the Qalandars was Afghanistan's hard-hitting batter, Hazratullah Zazai, who emerged as the top-scorer with a brilliant knock of 43 runs off just 22 balls
Contributing significantly to the chase was Andre Fletcher, who played a stormy innings of 29 runs off only 11 deliveries.
Asif Ali also made a vital contribution by smashing 21 runs off just nine balls, hitting consecutive sixes against Zimbabwe's Blessing Muzarbani. The bowler bore the brunt of Asif Ali's onslaught, conceding 40 runs in just two overs.
Johannesburg Buffalos managed to score 127 runs in their 10 overs while batting first. Pakistan's Mohammad Hafeez stood out for the Buffalos, scoring 32 runs off a mere 13 balls.
Tom Banton also played a significant role for the Buffalos, contributing 37 runs off 17 balls, while Yousuf Pathan managed to score only 25 runs off 14 balls in this match.
In the end, it was Qalandars' exceptional batting prowess and outstanding individual performances that secured their victory in the Zim Afro T10 league, capping off a thrilling tournament with their well-deserved championship title.
