Surrey Jaguars defeated the Mississauga Panthers by 55 runs in the ongoing Global T20 Canada league on Friday.
With this won Surrey Jaguars moved to third position in the league table, just behind Shakib Al Hasan's Montreal Tigers, who remain second with six points from four matches.
In response to the target of 165, the Mississauga Panthers faced a challenging start as Chris Gayle (3) was dismissed early by Matthew Forde.

Shreyas Movva (31) and Cameron Delport (33) then formed a crucial partnership of 48 runs that steadied the innings.
But took major turns when Lamichhane claimed the wickets of Delport and James Neesham (0) in the same over.
The Panthers' hopes dwindled when Shoaib Malik (7) was bowled by Spencer Johnson, who also dismissed Nikhil Dutta in the same over. Eventually, the Panthers were bowled out for a meager total of 109.
Batting first, the Surrey Jaguars started strongly with an explosive performance by Alex Hales, who scored 39 runs.
Jatinder Singh (57) continued the aggressive approach, while Litton Das (25) played a more controlled innings during the middle overs.
However, Zahoor Khan's impressive bowling in the death overs slowed down Jaguars' momentum. Dillon Heyliger (9) and Pargat Singh (9) contributed towards the end, but the Panthers' bowlers performed well to limit the Jaguars to 164/6.
