Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) president Nazmul Hasan Papon declared an extra 35 lakhs BDT bonus for the Bangladesh Women's cricket team due to their recent achievement in the India series.
Papon expressed his contentment with the women's side despite the team's loss in the T20I series and thrilling end to the ODI series 1-1 against Indian side.
"One of our players [Fargana Hoque] hit a century. Some of them played exceedingly well. We are giving 25 Lakhs to the team. The centurion and the best performers will get individual rewards. I guess the total amount will be Tk35 lakh," said Papon.

Bangladesh and India shared the three-match ODI series trophy, as the third match ended in a tie when Tigress restricted the visitors to 225-10 chasing 226 in the third ODI.

Bangladesh won the first ODI by 40 runs and suffered a 108-run defeat in the second match which leveled the series 1-1.
Papon admitted the women's team doesn't get proper facilities like the Australian, English and Indian counterparts.
"I was present at the ground during the first match. That day I said I was satisfied. The Indian team is much stronger. Our team doesn't get the kind of facilities England, Australia and India have," he added.
BCB boss also announced to launch women's version of the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) and begin school cricket.
