India Women's team captain Harmanpreet Kaur has been fined 75 % of her match fees for her behavior in the third ODI against Bangladesh at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium.
A reliable source of Bangladesh Cricket Board officials informed Cricfrenzy about the penalty that Harmanpreet was fined 50 percent of her match-fee for smashing stumps and 25 percent for her words in the post-match presentation.

Harmanpreet engaged into argument with the umpire Tanvir Ahmed during India's chase. The Indian captain expressed displeasure and anger with the leg-before-out decision extended to her smashing the stumps with her bat and a heated exchange with the umpire before walking back to the dugout.

Later in the post-match presentation ceremony, Harmanpreet slammed umpires for ' biased and pathetic' umpiring throughout the ODI series.
In addition to that, she was given four demerit points - three for breaking stumps and one for her words. No other Indian players were fined despite showing clear dissent against the decision of umpires during the match.
