Bangladesh T20I captain Shakib al Hasan sparkled with his all-round performance as he scalped three wickets along with his national team mate Litton Das’s wicket in their opening match of Global T20 Canada in Brampton and the all-roudner scored 26 off 13 with the bat.

With Shakib’s top-notch performance Montreal Tigers managed to beat Surrey Jaguars by five wickets.

Earlier, Montreal chose to bowl first and restricted Jaguars for 136 runs.

With a six over the deep fine-leg boundary, Surrey Jaguars vice-captain Litton got a good start but Shakib ended his opening innings of the tournament.

In the sixth over of the game, Litton faced Shakib and a short ball from the Montreal Tigers star ruined his match as he miss judged the ball and sent it straight to Abbas Afridi at cover. Litton made 9 off 11 balls.
