Towhid Hridoy has already impressed showing his power hitting ability in T20Is for Bangladesh. Hridoy is also happy to contribute for the team as he believes keeping calm during batting help him to perform.
The U-19 World Cup winner batter made an important partnership with captain Shakib al Hasan in the second T20I match, who also played match-winning 47 not out in the first game to help clean-sweep Afghanistan.
“Keeping a cool head in batting is very important, ball selection is also important. Here the bowlers have a chance to come back, but it is difficult for a batsman. I try to bat according to the situation. I try to stay calm,” Hridoy said to media in Mirpur Tuesday.

A few days ago, power hitting was one of Bangladesh's weak points in T20 cricket.
But Hridoy can fill that lack of demand. His ability to play big shots has made him indispensable in Bangladesh's T20 team.
Hridoy was one of Sylhet's best batter in the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) earlier this year.
However, he does not think it is easy to run in international cricket, “It is not easy to run. If you get runs it seems easy, if you don't it is difficult. This is normal.”
