Bangladesh U-19 beat South Africa by 14 runs in the second ODI in Khulna Sunday. After losing due to batting failure in the rain-hit first match, Bangladesh levelled the five-match series.
Shihab James played an innings of 69 runs with 1 six and 6 fours to lead Bangladesh for 268 runs. Adil bin Siddique, who is the second highest scorer, scored 41 runs with 3 fours.
Ariful Islam played an important all-round role as he scored 48 runs with 2 sixes and 3 fours and grabbed 2 for 33 runs. He won the man of the match award for this performance.

For South Africa captain David Teeger managed to score 75 runs, while Dewan Marais and Oliver Whitehead both made 38 runs.
South Africa needed 28 runs off the last 18 balls with 3 wickets in hand. But Mahfuzur Rabby and Ariful Islam ended the visitor's innings with 1 over in hand.
Rafi Uzzaman Rafi was the most successful bowler for the young Tigers as the left-handed spinner took 3 wickets for 29 runs.
The two teams will meet in the third ODI of the series on the same ground next Tuesday.
