Bangladesh's one-day international captain Tamim Iqbal has revealed that he is not ‘100% fit’ but he will be available for the first ODI against Afghanistan, scheduled on July 5.
The left-handed opener missed the one-off Test match against Afghanistan last month due to a back injury, but the captain has returned to practice and feeling better after the Eid vacation.

“I will definitely play tomorrow's match. My physical condition is better than before. But I won't say that I'm 100% fit. I'll have a better idea after the first game. But I’ve decided to play tomorrow,” Tamim said during the press conference.

Tamim further said that he does not want to harm the team, and noted that the team comes before any individual player.
“I also have to see how much I can adapt or not. But I will not do anything that would weaken the team. Because I always say, the team comes before any individual. I feel now, I am ready for tomorrow,' he added.
Tamim missed the series against India last year due to a groin injury but returned for the one-day series against England before also playing both the home and away ODI series against Ireland.
