“Surfing Association is a new federation. They needed help to participate in this championship, they appealed to BCB. We wanted to assist them. Our board president has cooperated with them so that they can participate”
Moazzem Hossain Chowdhury, General Secretary of the Surfing Association, thanked the BCB and said to media, “We are grateful to the Cricket Board. You know our federation is brand new. Even though the federation is new, everything is very expensive, the price of the surfing board is high. But an interesting thing is that we don't need a field. Honorable Prime Minister has given an acre of land, we will make an institute there,”
“The Cricket Board also sponsored our 5th Surfing Competition. I think the cricket board is becoming oxygen for our smaller federations. The way they are cooperating, we may not have to look back in future,” he added.
