The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced the squad for the upcoming two-match Test series and ODI series against West Indies.
Following the defeat in World Test Championship Final, India made few changes in their Test set-up as Cheteshwar Pujara, Mohammed Shami and Umesh Yadav have been dropped from the side.
While youngsters like Ruturaj Gaikwad and Yashasvi Jaiswal and Mukhesh Kumar got their maiden Test call-up in the side.

Rohit Sharma will lead the side as usual and Ajinkya Rahane will be his deputy.
West Indies win Test in Pakistan for first time in 35 years

The Test series will be the first Test for the third World Test Championship cycle for both the teams. The first Test will be played between July 12 and 16 in Dominica.
The second Test is scheduled to be played between July 20-24 in Trinidad. Following the Test series the ODIs and the T20Is will be played.
