The head coach of Bangladesh national cricket team Chandika Hathurusingha has returned to Dhaka on Saturday with psychologist Alan Brown. 


Hathurusingha, known for his expertise in coaching and strategic planning, has joined forces with Alan Brown, a seasoned psychologist, to bolster the strength and leadership skills of the cricketers and the team's staff.

During their two-week tenure, Brown will work closely with the players, focusing on enhancing their mental resilience, motivation, and teamwork. The objective is to instill a winning mindset and cultivate a supportive environment within the team.


The lone Test match of the multi-format series against Afghanistan will start from June 14 in Mirpur. The selectors will announce the squad for the Test series only after Hathurusingha joins the team in practice.



Meanwhile, BCB appointed David Scott as a psychologist for BCB's high performance unit.
