Corey Anderson left out of USA World Cup qualifier squad

The United States of America (USA) named a 15-member squad for the World Cup 2023 Qualifiers to be played in Zimbabwe from June 18 to July 9.
Former New Zealand batter Corey Anderson was left out of the World Cup squad, who shifted to play for the USA only earlier this year.
Anderson represented the Mumbai Indians (MI) in the Indian Premier League (IPL). He scored an unbeaten 95 runs off 44 balls with nine fours and six sixes against the Rajasthan Royals (RR) in 2014.

The team retained the same 14-member squad from the Namibia series and also picked left-arm fast bowler Abhishek Paradkar as the 15th member of their squad.
The USA squad also consists of Smit Patel, who had played for India A and India U19 before making a move to the United States.
USA are placed in Group A along with hosts Zimbabwe, the West Indies, the Netherlands and Nepal.
