Shakib Al Hasan cleared to bowl again after action assessment

Bangladesh ace-allrounder Shakib al Hasan is set to feature for Galle Gladiators in the upcoming Lanka Premier League (LPL).

The southpaw was enlisted to Galle's unit as a direct signing by the franchise, it was confirmed to Cricfrenzy on Tuesday by a reliable source. 

Earlier, it was learned that Shakib, opener Litton Das and Afif Hossain and Mushfiqur Rahim were named in the draft scheduled on 04 June.

The fourth edition of LPL is set to get underway on 30 July and will be played until 20 August in two venues Colombo and Kandy.

LPL will feature five teams Galle Gladiators, Dambulla Aura, Lyca Jaffna Kings, Colombo Strikers and Kandy Falcons – with each team including six international players.
