10 Dec 24The U-19 one-day series between Pakistan and Bangladesh has ended as the hosts lost the last match at the Shahid Kamruzzaman Stadium in Rajshahi Monday.
Batting first, Pakistan scored 244 runs and lost 8 wickets. In response, Bangladesh were all out for 164 runs in the 37th over. Pakistan won the five-match series 4-1 with 80-run win.
Bangladesh's two middle order batter Ahrar Amin and Shihab James scored half-centuries. Besides, only Zeeshan Alam scored double-digit runs.

After losing 4 wickets for 38 runs, Ahrar and Shihab made a partnership of 83 runs. After Ahrar left the crease for 53 runs, the hosts' batting collapsed again. Shihab scored the best 56 runs in the innings.
Ali Asfand and Arafat Ahmed took three wickets each for Pakistan. Sajjad Ali gets two.
Earlier, batting first, Hamza Nawaz and Shahzaib Khan scored half-centuries for Pakistan. Hamza scored the best 72 runs of the innings. 67 runs came from Shahzaib's bat. Besides, Azan Awais and Arafat scored 41 and 40 runs respectively.
Mahfuzur Rabbi took four wickets for Bangladesh.
