Shanto's maiden ton, Hridoy's vital 68 and Mushfiqur Rahim's sensible finish helped Bangladesh pull off their second-highest chase in the fifty-over format on Friday.
The duo batted quite a few times in the BPL for the Sylhet Strikers and Shanto believes that experience helped them understand each other's game well.

“Enjoying the partnership with him. We had several big stands in the BPL. We both understand each other, how we need to bat and carry the innings,” said Shanto

“The way he bats with intent is good for the team. Opponents can also be pressured. Irrespective of the conditions of the match, be it three wickets or four wickets, he does not go out of his process. I think that's how he should play,” he added.
The 24-year-old was the highest run-getter for Bangladesh in the T20 World Cup and followed that up by becoming the player of the tournament in the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL).
The left-hander ended as the highest run-getter for Bangladesh in their historic 3-0 T20I series triumph over England, amassing 144 in three matches with two not-outs in the 40s and a third fifty in the format.
