Pakistan U19 beat Bangladesh U19 by 78 runs at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chattogram on Monday, thanks to a century from Azan Awais and an all-around bowling effort led by Mohammad Ismail.
The victory gives Pakistan U-19 a 2-0 lead over Bangladesh U-19 in their five-match one-day series.
Pakistan U19 were dismissed for 271 on the final ball of the 50th over after being asked to bat first. Azan scored 105 today after returning unbeaten on 69 in Pakistan U19's nine-wicket victory over Bangladesh in the first one-day match. 15 fours were hit in his innings.
After the departure of Shahzaib Khan, Azan was involved in a 57-run partnership with Shamyl Hussain for the second wicket and later stitched 126 runs for the third wicket with captain Saad Baig.
At the end of 40 overs, Pakistan were 193 runs. At that point they kept losing wickets one after another. They lost 7 wickets out of 42 runs.

But Amir Hasan and Aimal Khan added 36 runs off 19 balls in the last pair. Amir took the team's run past 270 by playing an innings of 29 runs from 18 balls with two fours and sixes.

For Bangladesh, Iqbal Hossain Emon was the most successful bowler, taking four wickets for 72 runs. Mahfuzur Rahman Rabby bagged three wickets for 52 from nine overs.
In the run chase, opener Ashiqur Rahman was got out for naught. Another opener Adil bin Siddique tried to form a partnership with Shahriar Shakib for the second wicket but could not make a proper one.
Shakib was out for 17 runs. Keeper-batsman Adil Bin Siddique departed after scoring 40 runs off 61 balls.
Then captain Ahrar Amin (23), Zakaria Islam (24) followed the same path. No one could bring the team back into the fight.
Mohammad Shihab James and Mahfuzur Rahman tried to build a partnership in the sixth wicket. The two made the highest partnership of 48 runs in the innings. Ali Asfand broke the pair by returning Mahfuzur who scored 22 runs.
Shihab returned as the ninth batsman after playing an innings of 42 runs. The hosts lost the last three wickets within two runs and folded before 200.
The two teams will meet in the third match at the Shahid Kamaruzzaman Stadium in Rajshahi on Thursday.
