Players' union calls for reform of 'chaotic' global cricket calendar
27 Mar 25Comilla Victorians head coach Mohammad Salahuddin was disappointment for not having the Decision Review System (DRS) in the upcoming edition of BPL.
The coach rued over the absence of such a key technology in a tournament that has been played for more than 10 years in the country. He mentioned that technology has a huge impact on matches and results.

Since the Hawk-eye and virtual-eye are not available, the BPL Governing Council was unable to bring DRS in this edition. As a result, BCB deicide to operate ADRS. The past BPL season also saw the use of ADRS after eight matches when DRS was not available.
"It's a big tournament, so obviously disappointed for not having the DRS technology. You never know teams can go on to lose the tournament over a decision," Salahuddin told the media.
"Also, since there was enough time before the tournament and the board now has a lot of money, I feel having DRS was certainly expected," he said.
Salahuddin also expressed his desire to win another trophy with the three-time BPL champion Comilla Victorians.
"There are only seven teams, so there is no scope of becoming second. You have to go to the field with the aim to become the number one. So, if all members of the team have the same belief, it gets easier for everyone in the team to head towards the right direction," he added.
